Last week, my wife and I got a new puppy.
He’s a chocolate lab, and we named him Eddie.
It’s been almost a year since our dog Kobe passed away, and we decided it was now time to get another buddy for our other dog Zoe to play with.
We brought Eddie home last Thursday night, and it’s been quite interesting getting back to a “we now have a puppy at home” routine all over again.
Luckily, raising Kobe and Zoe I learned a lot of little tricks to make the process of training a puppy much easier – especially when it comes to house training.
For anyone with a new puppy I definitely recommend getting proper advice from a trainer or a professional who knows what they are doing, and not listening to “common knowledge” you hear from people.
A lot of people out there have interesting opinions on how to train a dog, but very few actually know what they’re talking about.
